When we think of Omega-3, we think of fish. This idea stems from an old belief in the food industry. It used to be common sense, but we now know: fish don't produce Omega-3 themselves—they get it from algae.
Why Omega-3?
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for healthy heart, brain, and eye function. The Health Council recommends a daily intake of 200 milligrams of omega-3 from fish —the equivalent of one serving of oily fish per week. 17 billion kilos of fish

Why Omega-3?
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients. This means that we need to get these nutrients through our diet. However, research shows that the Western world in particular often suffers from a deficiency of Omega-3. It is therefore essential to supplement these Omega-3 fatty acids.

Dosage and intake
Dosage: The recommended dosage for our vegan omega-3 algae oil (DHA + EPA) is 1 capsule per day. In some cases, therapists recommend a higher dosage. We advise taking the capsules during or just after a meal. This way you promote the absorption of the Omega-3 fatty acids. If you suffer from burping, we advise taking the capsules just before a meal.
