Natural & Pure Astaxanthin from Red Algae

Astaxanthin is often referred to as the king of carotenoids and is widely studied for its role in protecting cells against oxidative stress. Plnktn Astaxanthin is sourced from the algae species Haematococcus pluvialis, commonly known as β€œred algae”.

In Iceland, this algae is cultivated using a COβ‚‚-neutral, high-quality production process, resulting in a plant-based and responsibly produced algae ingredient.

 

Why astaxanthin?

Astaxanthin is a naturally occurring carotenoid extracted from algae. It is widely studied for its role in helping protect cells against oxidative stress.

What is the daily dosage?

1 capsule daily (8 milligrams). Do not exceed standard dosage.

When is the best time to take astaxanthin?

1 capsule per day (8 mg) during or just after a meal for optimal absorption.

Is astaxanthin free from allergens?

Yes, it is free from allergens.

Is astaxanthin safe during pregnancy/breastfeeding?

Astaxanthin should not be consumed:

- if other food supplements containing astaxanthin esters are consumed on the same day
- by infants, children and adolescents under 14 years of age
