Product details

Magnesium

Organic Magnesium from 100% Sea Lettuce

Magnesium is an essential mineral found in many foods, including seaweed and algae. It plays an important role in the body, contributing to normal muscle function, energy metabolism and the maintenance of strong bones.

Plnktn’s magnesium is sourced from organically certified sea lettuce (Ulva lactuca), naturally rich in minerals. The sea lettuce is hand-harvested, sun-dried and carefully milled to preserve its mineral content.

Each capsule provides 150 mg of pure magnesium, extracted from 100% sea lettuce β€” without any additives.

Why magnesium?

Magnesium is involved in over 300 bodily processes, such as protein synthesis, muscle function, and energy metabolism. For an active lifestyle or in cases of a magnesium-deficient diet, a supplement can be beneficial.

What makes your magnesium unique?

plnktn magnesium comes from the algae Ulva Lactuca (sea lettuce), a natural and organic source of magnesium. Many supplement brands use chemical compounds for their magnesium. We, on the other hand, use the form of magnesium that you also find in your other food, namely the natural form.

How much magnesium do you need per day?

The recommended daily allowance (RDA) is 300 mg for women and 350 mg for men. 1 capsule contains 150 mg of magnesium. Since an average diet already contains a fair amount of magnesium, this offers a responsible supplement.

When do you take magnesium and how do you combine it?

We recommend taking 1 capsule daily during or immediately after a meal to improve absorption.

Is magnesium allergen-free?

Yes, it is allergen-free.

Is magnesium safe to use during pregnancy/breastfeeding?

Yes, it is safe to use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

Does magnesium help with sleep, stress, or muscle recovery?

Magnesium plays a role in relaxation and muscle function. Many people therefore experience more muscle calm with additional magnesium use.

Magnesium Deficiency: How to Recognize It and What You Can Do?

Muscle cramps, twitching eyelids, fatigue, and a tingling sensation in the hands or feet are often cited as possible signs. These symptoms can also have other causes, making it difficult to determine whether they are actually due to magnesium deficiency. Start with a varied diet and seek advice from a doctor or dietitian if the symptoms persist.

What are the ingredients of your magnesium?

Organic Ulva sp. marine extract powder (Ulva lactuca), HPMC capsule.
