WHY MARINE PHYTOPLANKTON?

With a changing climate and a growing world population, we need to reinvent how we produce and consume food in a sustainable and responsible way. According to different scientists, the future of nutrition lies in the oceans, especially with algae (microalgae) and seaweed (macroalgae). Why? Not only because algae are a more sustainable food source compared to meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit, but also as they provide more healthy nutrients. Technological advancements also allow us to source our algae from local and premium suppliers that grow algae in controlled environments without touching the oceans.

Marine Phytoplankton offers a complete food source to support and supplement your daily nutritional needs. It is a wholefood plant power that offers 75+ nutrients from a single source of food. Marine Phytoplankton therefore offers a sustainable, natural and vegan food source to add to your daily routine. Our customers experience that Marine Phytoplankton can help to:

why our marine phytoplankton?

Our Marine Phytoplankton is grown at the edge of the Oostvaardersplassen, a nature reserve in The Netherlands. The microalgae grows in primeval water (130,000-year-old seawater), which is free of pollution and heavy metals. When the algae is harvested, it is directly packed with no additives. Also, no pesticides or herbicides are used during the process. The result is a pure and premium quality Marine Phytoplankton full of nutrients that benefit your health and wellbeing.
